I fancied a break from filling the joints in the new dry lined walls in the utility and kitchen. So I spent the afternoon making and dressing the new oak lintels for one of the doorways in the original cottage.

Boghall Burn
Heavy rain has caused our Burn to rise to it's highest level of the Winter. Tumbling through the roots of theses ancient willows beyond the orchard. I spotted a Dipper down there this morning, the first for 18 months....
